Custom Tag Materials
The most common material used in the hanging tag industry is 13 pt. or 175# CSU paper tag stock and we inventory numerous colors in this paper. Our sheet-fed printing capabilities, however, allow us to offer printing and converting on literally thousands of different stock papers.
When designing a custom hang tag, it is most important to determine the level of durability, weather resistance and functionality needed when determining the material. Industrial tags requiring extra durability or high resistance to water and weather are often made from Tyvek®, Vinyl, and other polyvinyl synthetics. Merchandise and garment tags are often four-color printed on high grade printing papers and carbon and carbonless papers are used to create multi-part or manifold tags.
